$125,000–$150,000 base salary, negotiable.
The Opportunity
Our client, a growing moving and storage company, is hiring a fleet director to oversee its truck and equipment fleet for the San Antonio market. You will be accountable for safety, compliance, maintenance, utilization and cost of the fleet.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the fleet maintenance program, vendors and repair budget.
- Ensure DOT, FMCSA and state compliance, including inspections and driver qualification files.
- Plan fleet capacity and utilization with operations and dispatch.
- Lead drivers, fleet supervisors and mechanics.
- Reduce downtime, accidents and operating cost.
What You Bring
- Experience managing a commercial truck fleet, ideally in moving, logistics or distribution.
- Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Maintenance and equipment budgeting experience.
- Leadership and coaching of drivers and technicians.
- Familiarity with fleet and telematics systems.
