$150,000 base salary, negotiable.
The Opportunity
Our client, a leading national moving and logistics company, is hiring an operations director for its San Jose market. You will lead day-to-day operations across commercial and residential work and ensure safe, on-time, profitable execution.
What You’ll Do
- Lead operations across moves, installs, warehousing and project work.
- Manage labor planning, crew scheduling, equipment and fleet.
- Partner with sales and project management to scope and staff complex jobs.
- Drive safety, quality, claims reduction and cost control.
- Develop and coach supervisors, crew leads and dispatch.
What You Bring
- Multi-year operations leadership in moving, logistics or a related field service business.
- Experience managing union or large hourly workforces preferred.
- Strong scheduling, budgeting and KPI discipline.
- Knowledge of Bay Area commercial and technology-sector moves is a plus.
- Excellent communication with customers and internal teams.
